I live in Austria and would like to offer you two fully equipped cozy holiday apartments and a private chalet in the health resort of Fischbach in Styria.

Fischbach is a town in the Fischbach Alps in the district of Weiz. It is officially recognized as a climatic spa by the Styrian government. Situated at the altitude of 1050m above sea level Fischbach is the highest place in East Styria. The highest point of Fischbach is Teufelstein (devils mountain) with 1498m, the lowest point is 650m.

As one of the stages of the “Alpentour Steiermark” Fischbach offers many challenging mountain bike routes. A route (R8) that is one of the most picturesque mountain bike routes in Styria is winding its way through the vicinity. At the bicycle rental “Feistritz-Radlwirt Mosbacher” you can hire a bike to a moderate price.

Fischbach is the birth place of the famous Austrian writer and poet, Peter Rosseger. It has twice been awarded as the most beautiful mountain flower village of Styria. In addition to the well-known Easter bunny village at Easter time and the Ägydimarkt (a cattle market) in the early September the town can also score with the warmth of the Fischbacher and the village life with its traditional customs and many culinary delights.
